Bridges rose to prominence with the warm, retro-soul sound of his debut album, Coming Home, and continued to explore new textures on releases including Good Thing and Gold-Diggers Sound. His catalog includes “Coming Home,” “River,” and “Beyond,” balancing classic soul influences with a modern perspective. His expressive vocals and polished arrangements make his music well suited to a large, live setting.
The May 1 performance places Bridges at one of Manhattan's best-known indoor arenas. El Michels Affair, the instrumental group led by producer Leon Michels, and Brazilian singer-songwriter Mari Froes add further variety to the evening's lineup. Prices currently start around $120, with final costs varying by seat location, availability, and demand.
Venue and Seating Information
Madison Square Garden has a circular, multi-level bowl with Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level seating. For this concert, lower-bowl side sections near the center of the stage—particularly mid-level rows—are a strong choice for balancing proximity and a clear view. Select central 200 Level sections offer an elevated perspective across the full stage and may provide good value.
Floor seating is closest to the performance, though sightlines can depend on the stage layout, standing crowds, and production equipment. Seats directly behind the stage may have limited views depending on the concert configuration. The arena sits above Penn Station, with subway and rail connections nearby.
Parking Information
Parking around Madison Square Garden is limited, and event-night prices can rise with demand. Commercial garages near Penn Station and 8th Avenue are the closest option, while garages toward Herald Square or Chelsea may cost less in exchange for a longer walk.
- Nearby commercial garages: typically about $30–$80 for events; availability and rates vary.
- Garages toward Herald Square or Chelsea: approximately $20–$50, often with a 10–15-minute walk.
- Street parking: limited and subject to strict Midtown restrictions, so it is not a dependable event option.
Arriving early or considering public transit can help avoid last-minute garage searches and higher prices. Rideshare pickups may also take longer after the show because of congestion around Penn Station.
